Atlantis is Easier to Find Than My Site
Yurie Jiyūbō
¡Hola chicos! ¿Cómo están? 👋 I can see you’ve been waiting forever for the final part of my humble adventures about trying to make a bit of cash on a spicy platform. Sadly, part three is a little delayed because of some unexpected website issues.
And yeah, my site is brand new, so by clicking those links you’re not only getting some aesthetic pleasure, you’re also boosting your karma, because Google totally loves people who help beginner developers promote their sites 😅 Just kidding. Search engines honestly don’t care at all — Google is still straight-up refusing to index my blog. There are no obvious errors either. SEO, structured data - everything looks fine.
The funny part is that you can easily find websites selling drugs, porn, or even a freaking nuclear bomb, but you still won’t be able to Google my blog😆
Apparently, search engines have some pretty picky rules for a site to get indexed. Like, your content has to be unique, actually useful, and your articles should be at least 1000–1500 words 📚. Good thing we don’t need three copies of a PhD review… and for that, I’m grateful! 😆
They also say that even if everything is perfect, indexing might take a few months ⏳. Sure, it’s cute that bots take their sweet time to study sites, but with this pace, I’ll probably grow old and move into a retirement home with my Alzheimer’s, where I’ll happily forget my blog ever existed 🧓💤.
And yeah, there are rumors that search engines barely bother indexing free domains 🤷♀️. Well… okay, I don’t even know what to say .
See you soon! 🙂
